     12 novembre : Anniversario della nascita di Grace Kelly.

SAS  La Principessa Grace di Monaco era nata il 12 novembre 1929 a Philadelphia. Di discendenza  irlandese-americana (da parte del padre John B. Kelly, Sr.) e tedesca (da parte della madre Margaret Majer Katherine ), Grace Kelly ed i suoi fratelli, Margaret , John e Lizanne, avevano ricevuto una rigorosa educazione cattolica romana.

Prima del suo matrimonio nella famiglia regnante del Principato di Monaco, Grace Kelly ha avuto una folgorante carriera cinematografica  dal 1950, con una serie di film di successo come High Noon, La finestra sul cortile e Dial M for Murder.

Nel 1954, ha vinto un Oscar per il suo ruolo di Georgie Elgin in  The Country Girl, mentre il suo ultimo film prima del suo matrimonio fu High Society con Bing Crosby e Frank Sinatra. Nel 1956, Grace Kelly sposò S.A.S. Il Principe Ranieri III di Monaco, dopo una breve storia d'amore . Il loro matrimonio resta ancora carico di fascino oggigiorno.

H.S.H. The Princess Grace of Monaco was born on November 12th, 1929 in Philadelphia. She was from Irish descent ( father John B. Kelly, Sr.) and German descent (mother Margaret Katherine Majer.). Grace Kelly and her brothers Margaret, John and Lizanne,  had a strict Roman Catholic education.

Prior to her marriage into the Princely Family of Monaco, Grace Kelly had an impressive movie career in the 1950s, with a string of hit movies such as High Noon, Rear Window and Dial M for Murder.

In 1954, she won an Academy Award for her role as Georgie Elgin in The Country Girl; while her last movie prior to her marriage was High Society with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. In 1956, Grace married Prince Rainier III of Monaco after a short romance. Their wedding still captivates many to this day.
