H.E. MR SERGE TELLE
MINISTER OF STATE
PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO
Year after year, Monaco Fashion Week has stood out as a notable event in the world of fashion. It complements the numerous events which make Monaco an international meeting place for culture, commerce and creativity. It also fits with the desire shared by all Monegasques to offer a warm welcome to the talents of the twenty-first century, and to see innovation, in all its guises, emerge in their country.
This is why the entire Principality is now proud and happy to see its name associated with this initiative, and to note its growing success.
This success is, of course, down to the quality of the collections presented, but also to the talent of the organisers behind Monaco Fashion Week, and particularly to Ms Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President of the Fashion Council of Monaco.
I hope that Ms Nardoni Spinetta and all of the organisers of this fantastic event will once again engage the public and continue the fruitful interaction between Monaco and fashion which began in 2013.
Above all, I hope that all fashion fans will enjoy a wonderful week in Monaco, filled with elegance, boldness and quality
Mayor of Monaco
This year again, the Monaco City Hall is pleased and honoured to be one of the partners of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) fourth edition.
Since 2013, the MCFW, created by the Monaco Fashion Council under the dynamic leadership of its President Ms Federica Nardoni Spinetta, has already managed three successful editions. The MCFW is not only a high-quality clothing trade show, it also plays a major role in supporting Monegasque brands and promoting Monaco as a reliable platform for the fashion industry.
The Monaco City Council and myself would like to warmly congratulate and thank the organising team for their extensive work and commitment, and wish every success to the 2016 edition!
