Monaco Growth Forum Spring Edition attracted over 200 people from over 40 countries on March 14th – 16th at the Meridien Beach Plaza in Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo, 21/3/16. The Spring Edition of the Monaco Growth Forum attracted over 200 entrepreneurs, financial managers and students from over 40 countries during three action-packed days of networking. Hosted by Andreea Porcelli, CEO of Continental Access Ltd., the second edition of the MGF saw 13 companies from 6 countries presenting and financial managers from at least 20 countries. According to many guests, the MGF distinguished itself as the one of the most international conferences of its kind.
Kicking off on Monday evening March 14th with a Cocktail and Hors D’Oeurves Reception at l’Intempo Bar, the Keynote Speakers, Gregory Thain and Joseph Konowiecki, entertained the audience with relevant topics such as ”Where to Invest Now” and ”How the Digital World has Failed Us”.
A full schedule of company presentations followed on Tuesday morning through the anticipated lunch hour when Ian Sosso of Monte Carlo Capital spoke to us about ”What Makes Business Angels Fly”. The afternoon was dedicated to one-to-one networking as well as CEO interviews which may be viewed at www.monacogrowthforum.com.
Later that evening, the Champagne Reception in the Boudoir Bar of the Meridien Beach Plaza was attended by over 100 guests who listened to Jeffrey Sweeney, CEO of US Capital Partners and our Platinum Sponsor, discussing “The Importance of Investing in Alternatives in the Current Market environment “. He was followed by Gianpiero Lotito, CEO of Facility Live OpCo, discussing “How to Build and Emerging Growth Company Started in Italy”. The VIP guests then enjoyed a seafood and fine wine dinner at Avenue 31 until the wee hours of the morning.

Wednesday 15/3 saw another full day of company presentations, press interviews and networking. A Female Executive Roundtable was held from 2:30 – 4:00 pm with the participation of 8 lovely professional ladies from 5 countries. The topic we discussed was ”How the Digital World has helped or hindered women in the professional workplace”.
The MGF Conference wound down with a “Great Wines of Italy” wine tasting led by Master Sommelier Dominic Milardi who guided the 70 attendees through a premium tasting of Super Tuscans, Barbarescos and Barolos. The tired but happy VIP’s said their Good-Bye’s at a dinner at Cipriani Ristorante later that evening.
